new series of work: "America, a Comedy"
The paintings in this series, "America a Comedy", are painted from photographs that I am taking of America's Funniest Home Videos. I found that there are many still frames that are truly surreal, and that like some of the Documentary work of Errol Morris...are proof of the strange and extraordinary occurrences in every day life.
